A friend of mine posted this on my Facebook timeline this week, and it made me chuckle rather a lot, so I thought I would share it with you all.
It did also get me thinking; and its not really blogging that is taking over my life, its more like social media; particularly this week when there has been so much going on its been hard to tear myself away.
We all need to get some perspective on it though – social media and the connections we make on there are important. Extremely important, these people can offer advice, friendship and help. They are another layer enriching our lives.
However, they are not as important to me as my family, and my wonderful children.
I need to take my iPhone out less, and hold my children’s hands more.
That’s what life is all about after all isn’t it?
However, you won’t be seeing me making cookies with the kids though – I can’t bake and my daughter knows it. Which is why for my children’s birthdays we always end up with lovely cakes someone else has made. Particularly after we tried to make shortbread together once.
